Overlooking an awe-inspiring morning in the small village of Titisee in the Black Forest

Mandi and I spent a weekend in the Freiburg area, where we lived in 2009. We stayed here in Titisee, where we had visited several times in the past: walking around the lake, studying on the beach, and exploring the traditional faire of the town.

Each day greeted us with such idyllic fog cascading over the tall firs of the forest. This little corner of the world is probably the most beautiful and peaceful places I’ve ever been or imagined.
