Pushing the limits of the camera in my iPhone using my new app, AvgCamPro.
The low noise and extended dynamic range in this shot comes from the fact that AvgCamPro took 128 identical shots and averaged the pixel values.
AvgCamPro also lets you export the image with selectable gain before it scales the values back down to the normal range, which is a technical way of saying it lets you do cool things that you normally wouldn’t be able to do.
