Of all the Apollo displays that I have seen, this one was the best – no distractions, no noise.
Hidden in the Apollo Treasures Gallery at Kennedy Space Center rests Alan Shepherd’s command module, Kitty Hawk, from the Apollo 14 mission. The room is full of memorabilia from the excursion and showcases flight suits and the moon rocks that covers them.
We all gazed in awe at the dramatic display, the gentleman in the picture gazing a little longer than others. Ghosts gazing at ghosts of the past.
